P.K. Scheerle, RN

CEO/Chairman of the Board PK Scheerle, RN is the CEO and Chairman of the Board for GIFTED Healthcare. Under her leadership, GIFTED Healthcare continues to grow organically and through acquisitions, currently operating through regional offices in Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma and nationally through its Travel, LTAC and Infusion Nurse divisions. As an experienced CEO, Scheerle has repeatedly created winning teams adding value and innovation to the healthcare sector inspiring excellence around the work of the nurse. Scheerle founded American Nursing Services in 1982, and under her direction, the company grew from five employees to over 2,500 employees with locations in nine states providing clinical staffing, disease management, vendor management systems, home care, and therapists. In 2009 Scheerle rejoined her successful management team at GIFTED. Scheerle is the recipient of many civic, business and professional awards including the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the American Red Cross Southeast Chapter, the American Business Ethics Award from the Society of Financial Service Professionals, named New Orleans CityBusiness Woman of the Year for three consecutive years and was inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame. Scheerle also served as Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization for Louisiana and currently sits on the board of the LSU Health Sciences Center. The Great 100 Nurses Celebration was founded by Scheerle over 30 years ago and has since honored thousands of registered nurses across Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, and Arkansas. Scheerle holds an associates degree in Nursing from Castleton University School of Nursing and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Executive Program.

Sheldon Schur

President Sheldon Schur is the current President of GIFTED Healthcare. As president, he is the driving force behind the company’s expansion and the enhancement of GIFTED’s strong value proposition for clients centered around the work of the nurse. Schur has over 20 years of staffing experience. Prior to his role at GIFTED, Sheldon was Vice President and General Manager of Global Sales for ManpowerGroup, overseeing the strategy and execution for several of their most significant clients. Schur’s experience includes over 10 years in the healthcare industry. He served as President of a start-up company in the assisted living market and held multiple leadership roles at American Hospital Supply Co. Given his industry expertise, Schur was named a Top HRO Superstar by HRO Today magazine. He serves on the board of directors of the Hoffman Co., UP Professionals, and is a past member of the board of The Intensivist Group. Schur holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Iowa.

Maggie Candon, RN

Chief Nursing Officer Maggie Candon, RN serves as GIFTED Healthcare’s Chief Nursing Officer. Candon oversees clinical services for the company and is the trusted clinical advisor for the nursing workforce. She works closely with clients’ chief nursing teams to understand their business goals and clinical needs for optimal and efficient nurse matches. Candon supports GIFTED’s continued growth through her passion for keeping the nurse and patient at the forefront. Candon previously held several positions with American Nursing Services, Inc., including Vice President of Supplemental Staffing, in which she handled staffing operations nationwide. Candon is active in national, state and local nursing organizations as well as the Women’s Healthcare Executive Network (WHEN), and Louisiana Association of Personnel Consultants. She also serves as an American Red Cross Volunteer. Candon earned a nursing degree from Castleton State College in Vermont and worked as a critical care agency nurse, taking care of ICU patients of all ages, for over 12 years.

Mary Kay Molbert

Managing Director Mary Kay Molbert serves as the Managing Director of GIFTED Healthcare. With 25+ years of experience in healthcare staffing, her leadership is a crucial element in GIFTED Healthcare’s growth. Prior to opening GIFTED, Mary Kay enjoyed a 17-year career at American Nursing Services, Inc., where she built her experience in various divisions and positions including HR, Risk Management, Operations and Vice President of Support Services. Mary Kay holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Louisiana State University. She is Professional HR-certified and is a member of the National Association of Human Resource Professionals.

Mullady Voelker, GSW, LMSW

President of Growth Strategy Mullady Voelker, GSW, LMSW is the President of Growth Strategy at GIFTED Healthcare, driving the strategic long-term growth plans for the company, including expansion into new markets as well as launching new services lines. She oversees innovative marketing and public relations efforts providing vision and direction to the marketing and business development teams. Voelker joined Gifted Healthcare in 2010, seeking a career that melded her passions for business and people. Even in the wake of a national nurse shortage crisis, GIFTED continues to grow. Under Mullady’s leadership, this growth includes three acquisitions, launching new service lines, and expansion to all 50 states. In 2017, GIFTED Healthcare was named one of New Orleans, LA fastest growing companies by New Orleans CityBusiness. With a background in business and social work, she is active in the community, focusing on bringing sustainable partnerships and businesses to the New Orleans region. She has served on the Boards of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, Children’s Bureau, Daughters of Charity, Legacy Foundation, and New Orleans Council for Community and Justice and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and WHEN. Voelker was featured in Gambit Weekly’s “40 Under 40” people to watch. Voelker is a New Orleans native and a graduate of Vanderbilt University. She earned her master’s degree in social work from Tulane University in 2008.

Cindy Fischer, RN

Senior VP/Chief Clinical Advocate Cindy Fischer, RN is the Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Advocate of GIFTED Healthcare. In 2006, she expanded the company's footprint by opening the Northshore divisions. Fischer plays a key role in service line expansion for GIFTED and leads the Direct Hire Division. Fischer previously served with American Nursing Services, Inc., from 2000 to 2004, where she grew the company to new states and oversaw multiple divisions. Fischer is an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Association of America and served on the Board of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.

Carol Robison, RN

President, Robison Medical Group Carol Robison, RN, BSN currently serves as the President of the Oklahoma Division. She directs the continued expansion of GIFTED Healthcare services across the state of Oklahoma and oversees the Government Division. Robison values her role as both a nurse entrepreneur and a nurse advocate. Robison has been in healthcare staffing for over 20 years. In 1992, she launched a nurse staffing company and grew it to a multi-million dollar business. She joined the company with GIFTED Healthcare in 2012 and together, they have experienced a tremendous level of growth and are quickly becoming noticed on the national stage. Robison was a nominee finalist of the Journal Record Fifty Women Making a Difference Award. She is the Governor’s appointee to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority board and is a former qualifying member of Young Presidents Organization and Staffing Industry Analyst corporate member. Robison graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Southern Nazarene University.
